About Us
How It All Began
Like most busy parents we were looking for a way to connect with each other without the kids and get outside while Xploring the trails around us, well this lead to us buying a canoe.
The Canoe
The canoe allowed us to Xplore our local lakes and rivers. I was terrified, I am not going to lie. But beautiful things sometime require us to dig deep and conquer our fears. I am still nervous when we first head out but once I am on the water the peacefulness sounds me and I relax and enjoy the paddle.
The camper
Well, 2020 was a challenging year. We love to travel but 2020 put an end to our travels outside of our province. So, instead of our planned trip to Italy, we bought a travel trailer. Now we can Xplore the wonders right in our own backyard.
So why we are sharing?
This last year and a bit have been challenging for us, like so many others. We are blessed to be still working, however the stress of this new normal has taken its toll. We had forgotten that life is not about the destination, but it is about the journey along the way. We are hoping that this website will help us, as well as others to get out and Xplore the Journey that is life and not just to go through the motions of living.
